Great cookbook by a great chef. This is the third cookbook by Marcel Desaulniers I have purchased. They are all gems. I have yet to find a recipe in his cookbooks that have failed.
After dining at the Trellis Restaurant I had to have the cookbook that contained some of the recipes I had eaten there. What a wonderful place to have been and now I can somewhat enjoy the recipes in my own kitchen. Thanks to the chef.
I absolutely adore this book for its simplicity, its clarity in directions and the outcome of the dishes that I have tried. I guess I knew we'd get along owing to the number of recipes that call for asparagus, which is a favorite of mine. The recipes are very experimental, especially in my home, and at the same time very refreshing. Enjoy!
Thrilled this came signed by the author/chef. Love The Trellis. Had many wonderful meals there and am so happy I have the recipes now-including the decadent "Death by Chocolate".
We always love when we have an opportunity to be in Williamsburg and dine at the Trellis Restaurant. The book is lovely but I did not think the recipes were easy. It is probably more for the advanced cook. I love their Clam Chowder and it was worth it just to get that recipe.
